FALLA THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
Synopsis
Everyone knows that Manuel de Falla wrote in capital letters the music that defined an entire country before itself and towards the world. His talent, his disposition and his ambition led him to live fully an era that marked the arts of Europe in the 20th century. We see in this show the essence of his creativity, impregnated with influences shared with some of his accomplices, places and artists as universal as Don Manuel was. </ P>
The show includes such relevant pages as "Cádiz" or "Sevilla" by Isaac Albéniz, fragments of "Goyescas" by Enrique Granados, "Poems in song form" by Joaquín Turina or a selection of "Old popular songs" by Federico García Lorca (in his musical facet, less known than his literary one), as well as fragments of "El Amor Brujo" or "Siete Canciones Populares Españoles" by Manuel de Falla.
